Vidio XTP™ allows businesses to share a Cisco TelePresence video stream with anyone with a video-capable wireless device, without the need for a client on the remote device. Vidio XTP™ captures, transmits, and records Cisco TelePresence sessions to a secure Smith Micro cloud, facilitating easy live viewing or later playback.
Given the platform is only 1-way at this time, the perfect prospect would be a company with a number of telepresence systems who have a recurring need to broadcast the live video / audio stream to participants outside the actual conference rooms. For example a recurring quarterly meeting or an analyst call or share holders meeting. By using XTP, companies can avoid excessive conference call dial in costs as participants can see and hear the live session over their data connection. XTP is fully integrated with Ignite's peer to peer client software so only 1 root stream is fed to each location and then shared via the app within the firewall
